The names endpoint provides a way of retrieving the NZOR representations of names that have been harvested and integrated.

Methods

Model

The API uses two approaches to represent a name.

NameLink

This is a summary version of a name element and is used where only a brief description of the name is required for linking to a fuller representation of the name.

NameId	The unique identifier for the name
FullName	The name including any author details
PartialName	The name excluding author details
Rank	The taxonomic rank for the name
ModifiedDate	The last date/time that the name was modified. For new records this will also be the date/time the name was created

Name

This representation provides detailed information about a name and its associated entities.
