The names endpoint provides a way of retrieving the NZOR representations of names that have been harvested and integrated.

Model

The API uses two approaches to represent a name.

 

This is a summary version of a name element and is used where only a brief description of the name is required for linking to a fuller representation of the name.

NameIdThe unique identifier for the name
FullNameThe name including any author details
PartialNameThe name excluding author details
RankThe taxonomic rank for the name
ModifiedDate

The last date/time that the name was modified.

For new records this will also be the date/time the name was created

Name
